FAQs
Does the riding academy provide trikes?
Indirectly yes because many people who take this course recently purchased their trike and want to learn to ride it safely. The dealership does not provide trikes, so participants bring their personally owned or borrowed trikes.
What gear do I need?
The same gear as all of our courses.
- DOT compliant helmet
- Eye protection (visor or glasses)
- Full-finger gloves
- Jacket or long sleeve shirt
- Long pants without rips
- Sturdy over-the-ankle boots
Do I need to take the eCourse?
No. The eCourse is one way to study the handbook. The Trike course uses the old school handbook review during class.
Is it easier than the 2-wheel class?
It’s easier in terms of not needing to balance, but push-pull steering and a lot of clutch squeezing can get tiring.
